Hello, I'm Sharon, founder of 8one7Creations.

For more than 37 years, I built a career as an engineer, where precision, quality, and attention to detail weren't just goals—they were expectations. Every measurement mattered. Every process had a purpose. Those years taught me that true craftsmanship is found in the details.

But engineering has never been my only passion.

I've always loved creating with my hands. Whether I'm designing handmade greeting cards, crocheting gifts for family and friends, or crafting wooden puzzles, creating has always been my way of bringing beauty into everyday life.

As I began planning for retirement, I wanted to create something that combined everything I love—engineering, craftsmanship, creativity, and travel. That's how 8one7 Creations came to life.

Many of the images featured in my puzzles are photographs I captured while traveling for work or enjoying vacations with family. Some represent places I've been fortunate enough to experience firsthand. Others are original works created with the assistance of artificial intelligence, inspired by ideas, memories, and places that spark my imagination. Whether photographed through my camera or brought to life with the help of AI, every design is carefully chosen because it tells a story worth sharing.

Travel has become an important part of my creative journey. One of my favorite adventures began with a simple goal from my youngest son—to visit all 50 states together. Some puzzles begin with a photograph captured during my travels. That journey has given me the opportunity to experience breathtaking landscapes, remarkable wildlife, and unforgettable moments that continue to inspire new puzzle designs. Every journey adds another chapter to my collection, and every design is personally selected because it reflects the wonder, beauty, and sense of adventure I hope to share with others. 

Every puzzle is precision laser cut from premium Baltic birch, carefully inspected, hand-finished, and individually packaged in my North Texas workshop. My engineering background ensures every piece fits beautifully, while my love of art and craftsmanship makes each puzzle a unique experience.

Traveling with my youngest son as we work toward visiting all 50 states has reminded me that life's greatest memories are made by simply spending time together. Whether gathered around a kitchen table, laughing over a difficult puzzle piece, or reminiscing about places we've explored, those shared moments are what inspire me most.

To me, a puzzle is more than entertainment.

Puzzles are conversation.
